Peruvians believe in freedom of religion, however most of the culture is Catholic. The people in Peru highly value the Catholic ideals, and use them in decision making in their government, education system, and everyday life. American society values the seperation of church and state.

What represents Peruvian culture?

Peruvian culture is a beautiful mix of Hispanic and native traditions. The Quechua and the Aymara are the two main native cultures of Peru, both of whom speak their native languages. Peruvian typical dress is beautiful. In some regions, the women wear layers of bright skirts called polleras.
